New Rogue: LiveSecuritySuite

by LS Anders on September 3rd, 2010 in Rogues, Security Alert.

LiveSecuritySuite is a new anti-virus rogue application. It is a clone of the GeneralAntivirus family.

LiveSecuritySuite is spreading through fake online scanners and once installed it will detect several false infections. The user is then urged to license the software to remove these infections.

Ad-Aware will detect LiveSecuritySuite as Win32.FraudTool.LiveSecuritySuite and Win32.FraudTool.GeneralAntivirus.
